Star Wars Assault Team: The Hunt for Force Promotion Items

Welcome to Stuff For Guys, where you'll find information about a lot of useless stuff, an occasional useful stuff, but it's all stuff for guys.  In Star Wars Assault Team, some Promotion Items are in greater demand than others.  Want to get an idea of which Force Promotion tems are more common than others when trying to promote your Anzat, Terentatek, Luke or Leia?  Check back here often for updated screens!

Additionally, is there any strategy to the hunt for these items?  Sure there is -- if you're hunting for both Tier 4 and Tier 2 Promotion Items, then you can skip the 4-Energy Tier 2 missions and go straight to the new 4-Energy Tier 4 missions (same mission, just lowered cost), since you will be getting at least 1 Tier 2 Promotion Items in each Tier 4 mission, and you're not spending any additional Energy.  Same for Tier 5 and Tier 3 -- skip the Tier 3 missions and go straight to the Tier 5 missions, since you will always get a Tier 3 Promotion Item in the Tier 5 mission.  However, if you absolutely do not need the Tier 4 or 5 item and your team is not strong enough to handle those harder missions, then just hit the Tier 2 or 3 mission.  As for Tier 1 -- I would recommend hitting any higher tier mission, since they will often reward Tier 1 Promotion Items as well.  No need to waste the precious 4 Energies.

  1. how in the heck do you get so many damn gems...?
I would love to help out, testing and providing screenshots, but definitely cannot fast-track like you and your gems...

BTW, very cool site... this is a pretty fun game, and you are more than helpful.

    1. thanks for the feedback, Luther. As for gems, do the KMart thing as often as possible. There were a few days where they rewarded you double gems.

  2. Lvl 4 (easy mission) -

I did it twice looking for the non malfunctioning motivator, recieved, in total:

    1 Sabacc Cards
    1 Non Malfunctioning Motivator
    1 Hyperdrive Field Guide
    1 Sensor
    2 Fanfar

So that's the easy lvl 4 smuggler mission.

    1. Very nice! Good to get your target item after just 2 tries
